Twitter is changing, so our widget is too!

New backgrounds on Twitter widget for iBooks AuthorAs of 11th June 2013 Twitter will be retiring the API we use to place data into your iBooks Author Twitter widgets. We’ve already made the necessary changes to support the new replacement API* and all new widgets will be using this Twitter API from now on. For older widgets, we will be deploying a push update to ensure, as far as we can, that they continue to work within your existing books.

Making the changes to the Twitter widget also gave us the opportunity to add some fantastic new features to the online generator, which are live on Bookry.com now. These include:

•    Add your own background
•    Specify the size of the text area
•    Specify the color and transparency of the text area
•    Select the font face, size and colour
•    Allow your readers to tweet from within your book

New Twitter widget lets you specify backgrounds and fontsSo, we hope you have lots of fun customizing your Twitter feeds so that they WOW you readers, look more professional and match the design of your book!

*Note:  Under the terms of the new Twitter API, your readers will have to login to Twitter to view the Twitter feed. Please contact us via our online support system if you have any technical questions regarding these changes.
